I’m Danielle! Sole owner & Photographer of Danielle Donaldson Photography. I am based out of Marseilles, Illinois (still servicing the Northwest Chicago Suburbs). Currently specializing in babies, families, maternity & couples.
Let me share a little about myself. I’m a happy, fun-hearted, friendly & caring person. My favorite color is green, I used to teach dance, took horticulture, photography and tons of art classes in high school, moved to Arizona for 2 years on a whim, I love road trips and I am all about self-love.

I’ve been with my husband since May 2005 & married to him since 2010. He is my biggest supporter & makes countless sacrifices so that I can further my career, I couldn't be more blessed to have him as my better half.
In 2012 I had my first little baby boy. He is pure happiness. I have been photographing every little move he has made, and I feel like I’ve become an even better photographer since having my own child. I know what I want in a picture as a parent and I know what I want in a picture as an artist.
In the Fall of 2015 I had my second little boy. He is my wild child! I photograph his everyday moments and his developmental milestones, so I will never forget his silly faces, sassy attitude or his little fingers he uses instead of his pacifier.
These moments are always gone sooner than we are prepared for. You never know when the last time your children will call you “Mommy”, want to hold your hand, give kisses without being asked will be.
I didn’t always know I wanted to be a photographer, but I did always know I wanted to work with people, especially children. My passion for photography flourished after my husband gifted me my first DSLR. I immediately became infatuated with every aspect. I began reading any tutorial I could get my hands on, constantly practicing on anyone willing to let me do so!
I was in photography love.
